WHEN TO USE
Use when you default to vague labels like “stressed” or “fine” and can’t quite name what you’re actually feeling.
WHAT TO DO
For one week, pick 3–5 more precise emotion words from a feelings wheel and commit to using them. Each day, spend a few minutes logging what you’re feeling, its intensity (1–10), and what seems to be driving it. At week’s end, notice which words became usable and whether naming things more precisely changed how you responded in the moment.
