As the Chief Executive Officer of TalentSmartEQ, Howard enjoys leading the TalentSmartEQ team in pursuit of its mission of providing the industry’s most impactful emotional intelligence solutions to improve the performance and engagement of organizations and their leaders and employees. Howard brings over 20 years of executive leadership roles including strategic planning, business development & marketing, product development, and shaping company vision, values, and culture. Howard believes that deep self-awareness is a powerful EQ foundation towards a satisfying leadership journey.
Prior to becoming CEO of TalentSmartEQ, Howard served as President of the Ken Blanchard Companies, another leading company in the leadership training and development space. He also served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing while there and was Chief Operating Officer of Coaching.com prior to that. His career experience also includes sports marketing leadership roles at The Upper Deck Company and a strategy consultant position with Bain & Company in Boston.
Howard received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in economics & public policy from Duke University.
Sr. Director of Financing & Accounting
Raj is an accomplished accounting and finance executive with a proven history of driving financial growth and profitability for organizations across diverse industries. With over 10 years of experience, he has developed a deep expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and risk analysis.
His background in audit and consulting has spearheaded financial planning and analysis initiatives, providing critical insights to drive informed decision-making and optimize operational efficiency. He successfully developed and implemented budgeting processes, financial controls, and forecasting models, resulting in significant cost savings and increased profitability.
Raj’s exceptional leadership and communication skills have enabled him to build high-performing teams and foster a collaborative work environment. He has a natural ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable strategies, empowering his team members to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
As an accounting and finance executive, Raj Khanna continues to make a significant impact on the organizations he serves. His strategic mindset, financial acumen, and dedication to excellence have positioned him as a trusted advisor and a catalyst for financial success.
Vice President of Operations
As the VP of Operations at TalentSmartEQ, Will oversees the company’s processes, customer service, legal contracts, project management, and IT. Will strives to use analytics to make informed decisions to guide policies and improve company effectiveness through a measurement of key indicators and reduction of errors. Will believes that operational excellence is driven by creating a positive work culture which is only possible through strong emotional intelligence.
Prior to joining TalentSmartEQ, Will lead high performing teams in various sales leadership roles at Cengage Learning, Charter Communications, and Target. Will was previously a high school history teacher in the state of New York. This combination of education and sales leadership allows for the development of operational procedures rooted in analytics which are implemented using educational standards.
Will holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Adolescent Education, minoring in Political Science from the College of Saint Rose. Will also attended the University at Albany for his master’s program in History.
Executive Vice President of Client Solutions
As EVP of Client Solutions at TalentSmartEQ, Felix spearheads global sales and business development initiatives. With a profound belief that emotional intelligence (EQ) is not just an important life skill but a crucial societal imperative, Felix brings a mission-driven approach to his leadership role. His unwavering commitment to supporting underrepresented communities in accessing education, achieving workforce readiness, and attaining career and life success is evident not only through his professional endeavors but also through his active involvement in various community and leadership boards. He currently sits on the Selected Services Board for the State of California, the City of San Diego Advisory Board for API Affairs, the County of San Diego Mental Health Advisory Council, and as a Board Director of the Union of Pan Asian Communities (UPAC).
Felix’s professional background spans six major industries at various senior-levels. Prior to joining TalentSmartEQ, he most recently worked as a Sr. Leader for the Center for Creative Leadership. In this role he led a high performing team of Strategic Partners covering 34 U.S. States, Canada, and Latin America working with Fortune 500 companies to solve their critical business challenges. Felix has held numerous leadership roles in higher education to include Vice President of National Development for Global Health Education, Assistant National Director of Strategic Alliances at Excelsior College, and Workforce Solutions Advisor at Apollo Education Group. Felix’s career roots started in Retail and Automotive where he opened retail stores across the country as a district manager and ran a 10.5-million-dollar flagship automotive dealership in the pacific region. He has also owned and operated several businesses to include Sablan Consulting LLC, a firm focusing on helping businesses with business and growth strategies, and Tio Chino, a full service Restaurant and Bar in San Diego.
Felix has a master’s degree in business administration and a Bachelor of Business Communication from the University of Phoenix, San Diego Campus. He is a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Trainer, certified Sales Trainer from Joe Verde Company, and a certified Automotive General Manager from NCM Associates. Felix is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology at Walden University.
Executive Vice President of Content, Research, & Professional Services
Maggie is a dynamic speaker who uses humor, storytelling, and practical research to make learning fun, provocative, and engaging. Over the past 15 years, she has helped leaders and organizations across a variety of industries such as law, education, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, construction management, and food and beverage. Maggie is skilled at bringing academia out of the “ivory tower” and down to the real world to inspire people to look at things differently.
Prior to joining the TalentSmartEQ team, she spent over 10 years at the Center for Creative Leadership in various roles including Senior Faculty, Global Portfolio Manager, and most recently, Leadership Solutions Partner, as a facilitator, consultant, and designer of leadership development solutions. She also ran her own consulting firm for the last 8 years focused on organizational development, strategic planning, career development and executive coaching, and facilitation. Maggie is an adjunct professor at the California School of Professional Psychology teaching graduate courses in organizational psychology and serving on a number of doctoral research committees. She has written for the Consulting Psychology Journal and Talent Management Magazine and contributed to the Handbook of Coaching Psychology and the Handbook of Coaching in Organizations.
Maggie received a Ph.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology and a B.A. in psychology from University of California, Berkeley.

As a cofounder and ongoing advisor for TalentSmartEQ, Dr. Jean Greaves brings over 25 years of experience in emotional intelligence research and development, training, and coaching.
Jean is also the coauthor of the #1 best-selling book Emotional Intelligence 2.0, Team Emotional Intelligence 2.0, Leadership 2.0, and The Emotional Intelligence Quick Book, now translated into 25 languages with over 2 million books in print. She also co-developed the Emotional Intelligence Appraisal®, a suite of self and 360 assessments. Her survey and assessment development expertise are grounded in simple, applied approaches to measurement.
Jean has led executive sessions, held speaking engagements, and coached leaders worldwide. She has taught graduate courses, supervised doctoral research studies, and was inaugural guest lecturer for Global Health Live, a five university “live” course focused on the relationship between health, foreign policy, and global health leadership. Senior Director of Training and Delivery Operations
As a Senior Director of Training and Delivery Operations at TalentSmartEQ, David offers over 20 years of experience in leadership development, on-boarding, facilitation, diversity and inclusion, emotional intelligence, personality assessments, and organizational development. He has lead Learning and Development teams with General Nutrition Centers, Dollar General Corporation and Landry’s Restaurants.
In addition to this role, David is also a facilitator of all TalentSmart’s training programs and is master certified to facilitate TalentSmart’s Mastering Emotional Intelligence Train-the-Trainer program.
Through David’s facilitation, he brings real world application with his diverse background in the retail, restaurant, and corporate worlds where he connects emotional intelligence to everyday affairs. His change management and multi-generational expertise provide an additional layer of understanding in bringing a connection with EQ.
David’s accolades include: A member of Dollar Generals Top 125 Training Team for 5 consecutive years beginning in 2011; Recipient of Training Magazines Top 125 Best New Initiatives in 2016; and Nashville’s LGBTQ+ Business Leader of the Year in 2015 while being named to Nashville’s Unite Magazine 25 Most Influential LGBTQ Men of 2015.

Vice President of Law Enforcement & Government
As TalentSmartEQ’s Vice President of Law Enforcement & Government, Greg brings over 25+ years of experience to the team. His passion is in coalition building, strategic leadership, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) leadership development, and helping unleash the power of EQ, especially in the law enforcement community. Before joining the team, Greg spent almost 4 years with the Ken Blanchard Companies as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Solutions Architect and Consulting Partner where he partnered with private and public sector companies to provide leadership development and DEI solutions to enable mindset shifts and skillset development for individual contributors, managers, senior executives, and organizations. Before that he spent over 20 years as a federal law enforcement agent with the United States Postal Inspection Service where he directed the coordination of policy, program management, strategy and risk management for criminal and compliance programs, and developed and implemented a national leadership development program that involved talent management, course development, succession planning, mentoring, executive coaching, and emotional intelligence assessments.
Greg is a contributing author to Breakthrough Mentoring in the 21st Century by Dr. Walter McCollum and has published articles in various academic journals. Greg has a BA in Sociology and an MA in Behavioral Science with a specialization in Negotiation and Conflict Management from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a PhD in Management with a specialization in Leadership and Organizational Change from Walden University. His dissertation investigated the relationship between emotional intelligence and leadership styles of law enforcement executives. He is also certified in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University and in emotional intelligence from Emotional Intelligence Learning Systems.
Greg currently lives in Houston, TX with his wife, and has two adult children. He enjoys reading, horseback riding, jet skiing, and mentoring student athletes in his spare time.
Director of Training
As a Director of Training, Dr. Sheri Duchock offers over 20 years of experience in emotional intelligence and talent development. She is equipped with the latest applied research findings in emotional intelligence, 360 assessments, and EQ skill development strategies. Sheri has inspired clients worldwide and worked with organizations in a variety of industries such as healthcare, education, consumer products, non-profit organizations, media, technology, pharmaceuticals and public administration.
In addition to her role as a Director of Training, Sheri is also a facilitator of all TalentSmart’s training programs and is master certified to facilitate TalentSmart’s Mastering Emotional Intelligence Train-the-Trainer program. As a facilitator, Sheri adeptly applies her fun, high-energy facilitation style to improve communication and facilitate growth in individuals at all levels within organizations. She is known for her ability to connect with her clients through adult learning theory and practices to deliver results.
She received her PhD and MA in English from Emory University, and her BA in English & Drama from the University of California at Irvine.
Director of Military Operations
As lead of TalentSmartEQ’s military vertical, Dimyas brings over 22 years of training and leadership experience. He is a retired United States Marine and prior to joining TalentSmartEQ, he served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor for the Lejeune Leadership Institute through Marine Corps University. During his tenure, Dimyas was responsible for the creation and/or management of many service-wide programs including the Force Fitness Instructor Program, Marine Leader Development Program, Slated Enlisted Leaders Orientation Course, and the Commander’s course, all of which serviced over 185,000 Marines Corps-wide.
Dimyas’ has expertise in communication, recruiting, ethical decision-making, and resilience and he has been a keynote speaker for agencies such as the Travis Manion Foundation, Mary Kay Corporation, Alabama Education Association, and numerous military commencement ceremonies. Dimyas has worked and delivered sessions with foreign nationals such as the Jordanian Armed Forces, the Japanese Air Force, and the Philippine Marines. His multicultural competence and humility coupled with his facilitation techniques were critical in developing strong partnerships and were key to mission accomplishment.
Director of Global Portfolio
As Director of Global Portfolio at TalentSmartEQ, Josh offers over 15 years of experience in emotional intelligence, leadership development, facilitation, diversity and inclusion, cultural competency and sensitivity, conflict resolution, and group collaboration for organizational effectiveness. He has worked with organizations across a wide range of industries to drive strategic learning initiatives.
In addition to his role as Director of Global Portfolio, Josh is also a facilitator of all TalentSmartEQ’s training programs, and is he master certified to facilitate TalentSmartEQ’s Mastering Emotional Intelligence Train-the-Trainer program.
Through Josh’s facilitation, he guides learners to sharpen their communication skills, enhance collaboration, improve results, resolve conflict, and exercise effective, ethical, and sustainable leadership. He inspires insight through raising clients’ self-awareness and social awareness, and he drives results by creating a safe, and interactive learning environment.
Josh received his PhD ABD in Sociology from the New School for Social Research, his MS in Culture & Society from the London School of Economics & Political Science, and his BA in Communication Studies & Journalism from the University of Iowa.
